Boys' Festival First Boys' Festival with a helmet decoration for a May doll | Celebrating with chirashi sushi by Yodai-kun of Yaizu

With my grandparents and parents. Everyone is smiling.
Are you still taking pictures? I'm exhausted.
I wonder when I'll be bigger than a doll...
The Kashiwamochi rice cakes that my mom and dad made for me,
I can't eat yet, so I'm eating rice crackers!
The music box has a great sound!
My child was born in July last year and I've been busy every day.
We were able to celebrate our first festival safely.
The child looked very happy to be surrounded by his parents, grandparents on both sides, cousins, uncles and aunts.
When I visited Hinasei-sama to choose a doll, I was still in the preliminary inspection stage.
They gave us a thorough tour, and in the end the president himself even explained the dolls to us in detail.
I was so touched by the warm hospitality that I decided to purchase it on the spot.
The May doll I received was very wonderful.
It was a magnificent sight that I could look at for a long time and never get bored of.
Every time I see the May doll, I feel a surge of hope that my child will be happy.
To celebrate, I invited everyone to my small apartment.
The night before, after the children had gone to bed, my parents worked hard cooking.
We also made our own chirashizushi, braised pork, salad, and kashiwamochi.
It had been a while since we had cooked together.
I was always busy raising my children and didn't have time to chat or relax.
I also almost never cooked for my parents.
Through this first festival,
I was filled with gratitude for my husband and my parents.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how my child will grow up from now on.
I would like to celebrate with the doll every year.
We are grateful to our children and Hinasei for deepening the bonds between our family.
thank you very much.
Purchased a May doll and had a fun celebration for Yota

Comments of gratitude from Takeaki Aoki, president of May Dolls Hinasei
Thank you for posting a wonderful photo.
I am Takeaki Aoki, president of Hinasei May Dolls.
We are also grateful that we were able to help you choose your May doll.
Thank you for your letter of wonderful celebration.
While you are busy raising your children,
Through the May dolls, I was able to reaffirm the bond between my family.
All of us at Hinasei are very happy.
Please be sure to tell Yota this wonderful story about his first Doll's Festival when he gets a little older.
I am loved very much by my parents and by my grandparents.
I think you will want to reaffirm this.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

Thank you for the connection from Yaizu!
I'm Tsujii, a staff member at Hinasei May Dolls.
Yodai has a cute expression on his face, surrounded by his family and relatives.
It seems that they are also very interested in music boxes. All of the wonderful photos give us a glimpse of their happiness.
At the first festival celebration,
I was very impressed that the couple cooked and served the food.
I'm sure that Yota, who will grow up seeing the warmth of this couple, will become a kind-hearted child.
By displaying a May doll and celebrating the festival, you can feel anew gratitude for your child's growth and for your family, which will deepen the bonds within your family.
It gives me such a warm feeling to receive a letter like this.
Thank you from Yaizu for this wonderful opportunity.

We are staff members at Hinasei, a May doll maker.
It's not often that such a large family gathering comes together.
Thanks to Yota, we were able to have a great time together.
And as they prepared for the celebration, the bond between the couple grew.
Perhaps the significance of this traditional custom is that it allows you to renew your gratitude towards your parents.
When I read your letter, I was reminded of the same sentiment.
The celebration of the festival is truly a profound and wonderful traditional event.
Please continue to make wonderful memories.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.
