Celebrating a wish come true: Koya-kun from Shizuoka Prefecture | Boys' Day First Festival

First festival in grandpa's kimono
Celebrating with the long-awaited Kodomo Taisho

Thank you for the wonderful May doll this time.

I bought a Hina doll for my daughter three years ago and loved the doll's face.

So this time, I wanted my son's May doll to be a child general with a beautiful face.

The costumes are also very detailed and well made, which I'm very pleased with.

The kimono my son is wearing in the photo is the one my grandfather wore when he was a baby 70 years ago.

I was glad that I was able to dress my child in the kimono that I had been carefully storing for his first Doll's Festival.

I hope that everyone takes care of their health and continues to make wonderful dolls.

Thank you for this time.

Three years ago, when I gave my granddaughter a Hina doll,
The doll that really captured my daughter's heart at the store was Kodomo Taisho.

It was so adorable that my daughter and I were mesmerized and said to her, "Please come back when you have a boy!"
The chairman called out to me.

And this spring, our wish came true as we were able to welcome our son, Koichi Mitsusaku Daito, into our home.

Her gentle, innocent smile and dignified demeanor are perfect for the refreshing May breeze.
We were able to celebrate the first festival together as a family.

thank you very much.

A heartfelt letter for the first festival

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm Saito, a staff member at Hinasei.

Thank you very much for the important photos of your child's first Doll Festival and your heartfelt letter.

Following the Hina dolls from three years ago, we are pleased that you have chosen us again.
And we were able to share the feelings of the family on the festival.
We are also deeply grateful.

Kouya-kun's dignified appearance and gentle gaze,
She carefully inherited the kimono from 70 years ago and wore it with care.
It's truly a special moment woven together with the family's love and history.

The letter from my grandmother promised me to come again.
Our wish came true, and we were touched by the warmth of our hearts as we celebrated the first Children's Day with Daisho, the little boy from Ohto.

We wish you continued healthy growth and happiness for your children.
I wish your family lasting happiness.
Thank you very much.
