Boys' Festival with a helmet decoration for a May doll First festival with my sister | Kanata-kun from Adachi Ward, Tokyo

I am very happy to have found such a wonderful helmet.
We were blessed with a boy last December, and we hope that he will grow up healthy and strong.
I was searching for a helmet with this wish in mind.
My eye was caught by many of your works, so I ordered a brochure and fell in love at first sight with your company's helmets.
Because we live in an apartment, we chose a smaller type, but we were surprised at how impressive and intricately made it was.
My husband's parents, who I gave it to, were also very happy with it.
I would like to treasure this doll and display it, hoping that it will bring a smile to everyone's faces and that my sons and sisters will grow up healthy and friendly with each other, just like the reincarnation of my mother, who unfortunately passed away last summer without ever meeting my son.
Thank you very much.

First of all, I thought the photos were beautiful.
Can it really be taken so well?
Even a professional would be embarrassed by this.
The sister's facial expressions are rich, and where should the subject be? This is a photo that you can't take unless you understand how to operate a camera.
Well, I have read your letter.
Indeed, this piece is on the small side.
Nowadays, everyone has dolls for May that are not too large, so you don't need to worry about the size.
However, the construction is as accurate as possible to replicating real armor.
The helmets for the May dolls are made from deerskin and lacquer, and the folding screens are made from natural cedar.
These are not May dolls intended for mass production.
Therefore, it is quite impressive despite its small size.
Finally, I believe that Kanata's mother, who passed away shortly before, is also watching his first Doll's Festival.
It is because of your mother, who has passed away, that you exist, and also Sōta-kun.
To convey this feeling, there is a wooden sign as shown in the photo that says, "Thank you for being born."
Also this site page. Thank you.

Thank you for the opportunity!
I'm Tsujii, a staff member at Hinasei May Dolls.
A photo of Kanata, his sister, and a May doll (helmet),
It has a natural feel to it which is lovely.
Tomomi Kato's special helmet,
And folding screens made by craftsmen one by one using natural wood.
Although it is small, it has a strong presence and is elaborately made.
Decorating and celebrating every year strengthens family ties,
And the memories will increase too.
Thank you very much for the opportunity.
