Thank you very much for the wonderful May doll the other day.
Two years ago, my daughter was also looked after at Hinasei, and when my son was born in December, I had no hesitation in visiting Hinasei with my father to decide on a May doll.
When I think back to when I was a child, my favorite decoration was a seven-tiered Hinamatsuri doll.
I remember my parents decorating the house every year, and it would take a whole day or maybe half a day to load everything into a truck, just like moving.
I didn't know that my late mother had also decorated it in hopes of my daughter's safe growth and happiness...
Through the Boys' Festival, I realized how grateful I am to my parents and how important things are.
I look forward to watching my son grow up and plan to decorate it every year from now on to celebrate.
thank you very much.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
I'm Ohata, a staff member at Hina Dolls.
Festival dolls not only create memories of the person who gave them to them, but also of the people who worked hard to decorate them every year.
I think festival dolls are like time capsules that convey our thoughts to the future.
I think it's wonderful that you become aware of your parents' feelings after becoming an adult.
I'm sure that when your children grow up, they will understand the feelings of their grandfather who chose the gifts and their mother who displayed them.
I think that would be a very nice gift.
I sincerely pray that you will grow up healthy.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.
