First Boys' Festival with a helmet decoration for a May doll | Three siblings, Ryoma from Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture

I recently purchased a May doll from Hinasei and was able to successfully celebrate my son's first Doll Festival.

My son had two older sisters and was a long-awaited boy.

My due date was in early April, so as soon as I found out that the baby was a boy while still in my womb, my parents immediately started thinking about buying me a May doll...After searching around, I found Hinasei.

We received two copies of the information request, one for ourselves and one for my parents, and from those, my parents carefully chose and purchased the Uesugi Kenshin model, which has ties to Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, where I was married.

They looked at many other May dolls with the intention of purchasing one, but Hinasei's dolls were truly magnificent...When the real thing arrived and I, as well as my parents, received it and put it on display, we were overjoyed at how beautiful it was.

The photo shows his first festival on the 18th day after birth.
Unfortunately, I was too small to wear the kimono...

My two older sisters, my parents who bought it for me, and our family.
It was a very memorable first festival.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

I'm Kurebayashi, a staff member at Hina Dolls.

We can celebrate two festivals a year, with Hina dolls in March and May dolls in May.
Congratulations on the birth of your long-awaited baby boy.

I'm sure that their older sisters will look after them in many ways just like their mother did. At 18 days old, they are still newborns, but they shine brightly at this stage.

Uesugi Kenshin had ties to Yonezawa, and like the wise local general, I hope he will be loved by all and live a successful life.

May dolls are the embodiment of a family's wishes. We hope you will enjoy displaying them for a long time.

Thank you very much for this opportunity.
