May Doll Memories

I live in the Kanto region, and my grandparents in Kansai bought me a May doll.

It's lonely because we can't meet often,
They are my beloved grandparents who are always happy to watch over their grandchildren as they grow up and are always looking out for them.

This time, my mother told me that she had found a beautiful May doll, and that's how I found out about Hinasei.

She gave the May doll to her grandson with the hope that he would grow up to be a strong and kind person.

I took lots of photos of the May doll in a hakama and a handmade Kintaro costume and sent them to them.
We went back home during Golden Week and were able to celebrate our first Children's Festival together.

When they grow up a little more, they will wonder what kind of wishes are put into May dolls.
I want to convey everyone's thoughts.

I hope that he continues to grow healthily into the present.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
I'm Shibata, a staff member at Hina Dolls.

Thank you so much for your heartwarming letter and the many wonderful photos you sent me.

The figure of a child sitting dignifiedly in front of the helmet ornament,
We were left completely moved.
He has the air of a magnificent warrior from the future.

In one photo of him dressed as Kintaro, he sits there holding a large axe firmly in his hand, looking both reliable and adorable, and it's a truly heartwarming sight.

The handmade costumes convey the family's deep love and their desire to cherish and preserve this moment.

The slightly tearful look on his face the moment he put on the helmet is also an unforgettable memory.

You may have been a little surprised at first, but I'm sure this photo will also
When your child grows up, it will become a treasured memory that they can laugh about and say, "That was so cute."

The May doll given to me by my grandparents who live far away,
"Even when we can't meet, I'm thinking about your growth and protecting you."
It contains a bond that is invisible but certainly exists.

We are deeply moved by the family's attitude of carefully capturing their feelings in this way and celebrating the joy of the festival together.

I hope that you and your family will continue to have many moments filled with smiles every time a festival is celebrated.

All of our staff sincerely hope that your child will grow up healthy, strong, and kind.

Thank you very much for this opportunity.
