Yukimura Sanada's red armor by Yuzan! May doll with six-mon coin

This is a May doll of Sanada Yukimura wearing red armor and bearing a six-mon coin.

He was a military commander who lived during the Sengoku period and is a famous commander who has left his mark in history.
Sanada Yukimura's distinctive features are his red armor, deer antlers coming out of both sides of his helmet, and a six-mon coin metal fitting in the middle of his helmet.
Wearing red armor in battle is a color that only a strong military commander could wear.

"What is the meaning of Rokumonsen?"

When it comes to Yukimura Sanada, his red armor and stag beetle made of deer antlers are famous, but
Let me explain about Rokumon coins.

At that time, according to Buddhist belief, one had to pay six mon to cross the Sanzu River.

He attached the six-mon coin to the stag beetle and wrote, "I am prepared to die in battle."
This armor reflects the unique mindset of Sanada Yukimura.

Indeed, he is known to the world today as a strong-willed military commander who demonstrated this attitude when he challenged Tokugawa Ieyasu's main camp during the Summer Siege of Osaka.

『Bow and Sword』

The bow and sword are not used for fighting, but are displayed together with the helmet as a talisman to ward off evil spirits.
It was believed that gods resided in long bows.

Displaying a bow and a sword on both sides means
The role of the retainers was to stand by the general's side and protect his armor.

"Pedestal and Screen"

The screen is 90cm tall and very impressive.

The unique design gives it a stylish look

The beautiful dark brown wood grain will blend in with any room you decorate it in.

If you display it in a large living room or a Japanese-style room, the Tango Festival will be more festive.

When you see a picture of a dragon and a tiger, you probably think of something brave.

Of course this is true, as these two animals were favored designs by warlords during the Sengoku period as symbols of bravery.
