This helmet, named after Minamoto no Yoshiie,
A fitting appearance for someone known for his honesty and courage among samurai.
The beautifully designed kuwagata crests are handcrafted one by one.
It gives off a sense of both strength and delicacy.
Every time I display it, it seems to gently remind me of the inner strength that my child has.

The helmet's waist is made of Japanese paper kozane (small metal plates).
The delicate weaving, which highlights the careful handiwork of artisans,
Beyond the meaning of "protection,"
It has a warmth that seems to embody the love between a parent and a child.

The contrast between the calm deep navy blue color and the red string is
I feel a strong will within the kindness,
Although it is a small helmet, it exudes a dignified presence.
Its appearance is like that of a second family member watching over the child's future.

The folding screen behind the painting is decorated with gold-painted waves and pine trees.
Unwavering in the face of difficulties like rough seas,
I hope they grow strong like pine trees.
The design symbolizes the parents' wishes.

This helmet was carefully crafted one by one by Tomomi Kato.
It's not just a festival decoration.
Armorer Tomomi Kato is a master craftsman who has been selected as a "Tokyo Meister" by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
With a precise design based on historical research and uncompromising handwork,
We have produced a number of authentic armors.
The helmet born from the hands of Tomomi is
It has both power and elegance that will touch the hearts of those who display it.
At the beginning of a child's life,
Gently entrust your family's feelings to us.
It is a heartfelt gift that can only be conveyed because it is genuine.

Minamoto no Yoshiie was the great-great-grandfather of Minamoto no Yoritomo and Yoshitsune, who are famous for founding the Kamakura shogunate.

Not only were they brave, but they also never forgot their compassion even in the midst of their daily battles.

He looked after his retainers and it seems that many of them were prepared to sacrifice their lives in gratitude for their kindness.

His popularity saved Yoshiie wherever he went and led to the subsequent development of the Minamoto clan.

This helmet of Yoshiie was made by a craftsman, Tomomi Kato, with great attention to detail.

The techniques of the time have been reproduced even in the sides of the helmet, the joints and stitching of each part.

The back of the helmet is not visible when it is normally displayed,

It has been made with great attention to detail.

Even small children today will one day want to pick up a helmet and try it on.

And when I felt the weight and the power of the craftsmanship, I remembered the time when I was born.

There will come a day when your heart will be warmed by the knowledge that you have been given such a wonderful gift.

In that sense, May dolls could be said to be a "gift with a time lag."

These May dolls are a part of a long-standing Japanese tradition, and are filled with wishes for and protecting the future of children.

Place the bow on the left side and the sword on the right side.

The bow and sword have the meaning of "keeping evil spirits and demons away."

They are called "Hama" and are sold at shrines as talismans.

Swords are also displayed to protect against demons that hate shiny objects.

Bows and swords were not used for fighting, but it was believed that gods resided in long bows.

Since it is not intended for fighting, the sheath is placed on top and the handle that is held in the hand is placed on the bottom.

Displaying a bow and a sword on both sides means that the retainers are standing by his side.

Their role was to protect the armored general.

Folding screen: Height 55cm.

Since it is made from natural wood, it is a material for folding screens and display stands that gives off the warmth of wood.

It has a calm brown design, so it looks stylish when displayed in the living room.

It is made with designs and materials that are rare in the industry.

Furthermore, the design is less flashy and the gold leaf processing is very elegant. Each folding screen is handcrafted.

The gold leaf is a porogram process, so it emits a variety of colors including green, blue, and red.

An elegant gold pattern of "Pine trees on waves" is placed on a thin, light beige tsumugi cloth.

When you look at the picture on the screen from different angles, various sparkling colors appear and disappear.
