May doll helmet decoration Sanada Yukimura Elegant, bold, flashy

This is a May doll of a large Sanada Yukimura wearing a helmet.
It measures 85cm wide, 100cm high and 60cm deep, making it a very smart display piece.
The swords and bows on either side are also large and impressive.
When you pick up the sword and pull it out of its sheath, it is a magnificent sword like the ones you see in period dramas on TV.
Your child will love playing war games!

As your child grows, they will love wearing Yukimura Sanada's helmet, wielding a sword and playing wild games like in battles.

Of course, don't worry, the sword doesn't actually cut.

In the near future, I would like to take photos like this every year to preserve the fun and elegant memories of Tango no Sekku.

Sanada Yukimura, who was described as "the greatest soldier in Japan," was a real warlord who lived from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period.
After living as a hostage for a long time, he has transformed everything into elements of his own will to survive, and is a fine military commander with a strong will and heart.

He was a man of great integrity, and though he received numerous invitations from the Tokugawa Ieyasu family, his determination to never betray Toyotomi Hideyoshi was admirable.

Although he was apparently a gentle person, when one thinks of Sanada Yukimura, the word that comes to mind is "six mon coin."
The six-mon coin comes from the Buddhist belief that the fare for the dead to cross the Three Kingdoms is six mon.
In short, Sanada Yukimura was a symbol of someone who was ready to sacrifice his life at any time in battle.

The spirit with which he charged towards the Tokugawa headquarters during the Summer Siege of Osaka shows that he lived a life that was true to honor.
